Magazine cover production - sticker

I decided that I would incorporate a 'sticker' onto my magazine cover.

I found that stickers are often used in order to  make the magazine appeal to the audience, by enticing them in with various features -such as competitons, free things or bumper/special magazine issues.

I decided to stick with some of my colour scheme with the sticker - but use an additional colour for the text to make it stand out even more.

I decided to experiment with 2 colour variations of my sticker.
I used the red to tie in with my title in one variant and blue to tie in with my subheadings on my front covers for the other.
I believe that in this variation of the shape, it looks better in the colour blue.

I also decided to try out more than one background shape for my sticker - and decide which I liked best when I had finished my cover and could properly position them and decide which looked more professional and made my magazine more appealing to my target audience.
I believe that in this variation of the shape, it looks better in red.
