Further planning - Photo shoot

After deciding that I would attempt to do a unique, fun and exciting photo shoot, I came up with the idea of doing a photoshoot with some light references to 'alice in wonderland' - with a more modern, 'dark' spin to it in order to suit my target audience.
I will tie this in with the brand identity of my artist in some way  - with a link to alice in wonderland being featured either in her band/artist name, album title or her song titles.

However, I will ensure that the photoshoot isn't too over the top in its references to alice in wonderland, as it may put off my audience, or make my magazine too distracting and 'in your face'.
I will also ensure that  I adapt the 'alice in wonderland' theme, and make it appeal more to my rock/alternative audience by making it more modern and even interpreting it in my own ways, adding accents of more dark, rock connotating tones to the original story and plot.

I will take inspiration for my photo shoot from props that are used in alice in wonderland - such as playing cards, white rabbits, clocks, 'eat me' and 'drink me' packages and possibly even experiment with distortion of reality through size changes - such as when alice shrinks in order to gain access to wonderland.

I will also attempt to make the most of this photoshoot by taking some prospective photographs for use on my double page spread and contents page.
