I decided to develop my magazine double page spread by adding in the main text - interview - for my article.
I made sure that I followed the typical codes and conventions of an interview type article.
This included me having the 'column' format for my text - which from my research I found that music magazines of my genre still followed.
I also ensured that I had some quotes taken directly from my text larger than the other fonts in order to stand out. This was again a typical convention of magazine interviews as it interests the reader and encourages them to read more.
Furthermore, I made sure I had a highly interesting, appealing title that will appeal to my target audience. I believe that the quote 'People need to get to know the real me!' will appeal to my audience as it makes my artist come across as quite a misunderstood person - something that my target audience may be able to relate to.
I put the questions from my interviewer in a different colour to the answers from my artist as I also found this was a common feature, and I believe it makes my double page spread seem more professional.
